Nigel Pauley shows
Radio has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember – it was always playing in my house as I was growing up – from ‘Junior Choice’, to ‘Two Way Family Favourites’ and ‘The Jimmy Clitheroe Show’. Later I listened to John Peel and now Black Cat Radio!
I’ve appeared as a “pundit” or “media commentator” on a variety of National and local stations. Plus the likes of Sky News.
During 2022 Ste Greenall kindly invited me to contribute to his Full English Breakfast Show on Tuesdays and Thursday. Now I’m beyond excited to be offered the chance to host a show.
I look forward to taking the helm of the Tuesday edition of Black Cat Radio’s new magazine show. It promises to be a mixture of great guests, news, views and chat. Lots of chat! Plus the great music you have come to expect. I want listeners to feel they are enjoying a coffee and a natter with old friends – to feel part of the conversation.
Presenting is a new experience for me – so be gentle!
I’m a local lad with family roots in St Neots. I started out a long career in journalism at The Hunts Post and spent 25 years working on national newspapers in what used to be called “Fleet Street”. I moved back to the area in 1994 and live locally with my family and Golden Retriever. In my spare time I play golf – I’m a member of St Neots Golf Club.
