Well, what do you need to know?

I’ve lived in Eaton Ford for over 30 years but hail from a small village in Bedfordshire called Shillington. Born in the 1960s my first memory of radio was listening to Radio Caroline closing down in 1967. I do remember it being recorded on a reel-to-reel tape machine.

Been running my Mobile Disco since the mid-1980s and have always had a passion for music. If you saw my main collection, you might say, “That’s an eclectic taste in music you have” – which is very true.

If I had to give a top 10 for example you would find songs by George Benson, ELO, Lisa Stansfield, Level 42, Status Quo, Basement Jaxx, John Newman, Rudimental, The Prodigy and Plan B.  There’s a list to get you talking.

Been working in Sales most of my life with the exception of my first job at British Aerospace in Stevenage assembling and testing guided weapons – now you didn’t know that about me.

Onto Black Cat Radio. I’ve always wanted to work in Radio and if my older brother can do it so can I. After a couple of demo sessions I started on 16th June 2017.

My 80s and 90s show broadcasts from 4pm till 6pm every Sunday and forms part of Solid Gold Sunday – six hours of classic music from the 60-90s all starting at noon.

I also upload my show onto Mixcloud so you can listen to all of my shows when you like.

You can also hear me Fridays at 6pm with Friday Night Fever playing tunes you love to hear.

I feel very passionate about the sound of the station and being a part of the St Neots community.
