The family jukebox was a catalyst for my love of music, growing up with favourites such as The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde by Georgie Fame and Zoom by Fat Larry’s Band.

I picked up musical instruments during my school years, piano, violin and saxophone, unfortunately, mostly forgotten these days.

Radio made evening homework bearable. It then sound-tracked holiday car journeys, birthday parties, even Christmas Day! I starting out listening to the local station Northants 96, then Radio 1 and I haven’t looked back since.

I completed a 3-year degree course at the University of Wolverhampton, which seems a lifetime ago, where I discovered love for local radio, being the voice for the community, to keep you updated with what was going on in and around the local area.

I have always had a desire to work in radio and eventually plucked up the courage to reach out to Black Cat Radio, during the pandemic.  Paul Rushforth was very helpful and influential in me joining the station, I’d like to say a huge thank you to him. I look forward to the opportunity to produce great content for the station.

In my spare time I enjoy sports and spending time outdoors, with friends and family.
