Black Cat Radio launches its 2nd appeal for the homeless

In the run-up to Christmas 2023, we put out an appeal to try and raise money for 3 Pillars – Feeding the homeless. We had set a target of £1,000 over a very short period. We were delighted that through the generosity of many businesses, we raised over £2,000.

The organisation gives out hot food, hot drinks, pastries, dog food, toiletries including ladies sanitary items, warm clothing, sleeping bags and tents to the Homeless and those in need of assistance.  They also help and care for those in distress with on the spot first aid and assist in finding accommodation with different housing associations and organisations.

You’ll find them all year round at the Brewery Tap car park in Peterborough and in St Neots.

This year we are repeating our appeal aimed at businesses. In return for a donation of just £25, a business can record a Christmas message and send it to us to play on-air throughout December. The details can be found on our website homepage.
