Ste Greenall

From recording “Pick of the Pops” on an old Grundig reel to reel recorder at the age of 8 to Community Radio Station Director, Ste Greenall’s had quite a radio journey. Hospital radio ….a mobile disco …..a freelance sports reporter on the ILR network in the 80s and 90s…media spokesman for two football clubs…and latterly, joint organiser of music shows with his pals in “Papa Echo 29”. His sport work on radio included Test Cricket, Football at all levels including a full match commentary from Wembley, Rugby League and Union, Horse Trials – you name it, Ste’s probably covered it.

He joined the embryonic Black Cat Radio in 2009, recording shows in Tony Gillham’s garage. Three other studio locations and various shows later, Ste has presented “The Full English Breakfast” – our weekday breakfast show, since the launch of Black Cat 107. He has looked after the finances for 5 years and became a director of the station in November 2017.
