Jinksy

I'm John Drinkwater, also known as Jinksy, and I've been entertaining audiences since 1968. My passion lies in Northern Soul, and over the years, I've DJed at weddings, parties, and organized major events like the Brampton Summer Fayre and the Huntingdon and St Ives carnivals. In the 1980s, I was part of a national talent-spotting project, which once involved walking a lion through St Ives. Known as 'The Madcat of Black Cat,' I've been with Black Cat Radio since its early internet days. You can catch me every Sunday evening from 6pm to 9pm, spinning soul classics and keeping the Northern Soul spirit alive.
